For more than 18 years, Ginger Campbell has provided pharmacy benefit solutions to self-funded and experience-rated benefit plans. She has extensive experience working with Third Party Administrators, PPO's and HMO's.

Before joining BancorpSouth Insurance Services, Ginger worked as an independent pharmacy benefit consultant for plan sponsors with 250 to 14,000 employee lives. Prior to working as an independent consultant, she served as regional marketing director with Express Scripts for 11 years. During that period, Ms. Campbell wrote over 1,000,000 employee lives for Express Scripts with companies of up to 30,000 employee lives. It was also during this time that Ginger developed her keen understanding of how to model plans through the development of custom modeling systems.

Unlike many pharmacy consultants, Ginger has a complete grasp of the relationship between health and pharmacy benefit plans. It is this ability to attack a challenge from both sides that distances her from peers. Her expertise provides a depth beyond the overly simplistic sales philosophy that drives too many consultants. For example, Ms. Campbell's understanding of the underwriting process for alternative-funded and experience-rated medical plans enables her to effectively bridge the client's desire to control rapidly escalating pharmacy benefit costs with their ability to implement effective pharmacy benefit solutions.

Managing pharmacy plans often requires managing formal Requests For Proposals (RFP's). For this purpose, she has developed an evaluation and selection process exclusive to BancorpSouth Insurance Services. Ms. Campbell has extensive experience in all aspects of the RFP process including creation, submission, analysis and presentation. After the pharmacy vendor is selected, she negotiates the contract and terms, manages implementation as well as on-going utilization and clinical management of the new program.
